Sue Hardy-Dawson

is a poet, artist, and illustrator, and has been widely published in children’s poetry anthologies. Her first solo collection 'Where Zebras Go', Otter-Barry Books is shortlisted for the 2018 CLiPPA Prize. Apes to Zebras an A to Z of shape poemes with Poetry Ambassadors Roger Stevens and Liz Brownlee came out in 2018.

A second solo collection 'If I Were Other Than Myself' is out NOW Troika Books.

 

She has an Open First Class Honours Degree in Creative Writing, Literature and Supporting Teaching and Learning.

 

She is a member of The National Assosiation for Writers in Education and has been a writer in schools and also been commissioned to provide workshops for the Prince of Wales Foundation for Children and the Arts.

 

As a dyslexic writer she takes a special interest in encouraging children with special educational needs.
